architecture Change Guidelines
- No architectural changes should be undertaken without first submitting an
Architectural Change Request to the Carino Canyon Architectural Committee.
-
The committee generally will approve those architectural change requests for
changes to homes that are consistent with the original options and upgrades that
were offered by Shea Homes when they built the community. For example:
- Enclosing a patio that does not extend beyond the original roof line of the
structure
- Adding an attached casita with the same
architectural dimensions originally offered by Shea Homes to the front of the house.
-
The committee generally will
generally not approve requests for changes or additions to
homes which extend past the limits of Shea Home's original options and upgrades
and which would block neighbors’ views of natural vistas. For example:
- Unattached living quarters, such as
unattached casitas in backyards.
- Second-story observation decks on the
exterior of dwellings.
- Second-story onto dwellings.
